See If You Qualify: FAQs

Do You Take Insurance?

Because of the nature of the business (spending an hour 1:1 with clients in a quiet, private office) we do NOT take insurance and are considered an out-of-network provider with ALL insurance companies. If you have out-of-network benefits with your health insurance, I can provide you with all of the documentation needed to turn into your insurance company for reimbursement.

A 50% deposit of the evaluation fee will secure your appointment, with the remainder due at time of service. Payments accepted: credit or debit card, including HSA/FSA cards.

Get Back Physio LLC is not a Medicare Provider, so law prevents us from providing Medicare patients with what would be considered “normally covered services.” If you are a Medicare beneficiary and would still like to see if you might qualify to work with us, please call at (614) 353-1581.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Your first visit is for information gathering and a complete physical therapy examination. It’s important to bring the following:

  • Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that permits movement for the physical examination

  • Complete list of all prescription medications and supplements

  • Names and contact information for other providers seeing you for your issue (ex/orthopedic surgeon, family doctor, chiropractor, massage therapist.)

  • Any canes, hearing aids, and other assistive devices you normally use

Payment for the balance of the session will be collected at the end of the appointment. Credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards only are accepted.

How Can I Qualify for a Discount Due to Financial Hardship?

Get Back Physio LLC uses the Ohio rules for Medicaid as a guideline in determining financial need for the following folks:

  • adults aged 18-64 (It reads as “19-64” in the Guidelines)

  • adults aged 65+ (See ‘Parents/Caretaker Relatives) and

  • Pregnant Women

If you realize that you qualify for a hardship discount, we will kindly provide you with the forms we need to keep on file.

How many visits will I need?

Fewer than at a physical therapy chain. Meaning: As the practice does not rely upon the model of maximizing billable units for insurance reimbursement, Dr. Gina is able to work with you to establish a Plan of Care that encourages your independence, with follow-up treatments via HIPAA-compliant Telehealth with her as needed; or with massage or other bodyworkers in the Well Within Collective, at a lower cost to you.

Dr. Gina also offers many hands-on care options as well.

What happens during my examination?

Dr. Gina will first talk with you to ask questions about your injury or pain, both to assess the issue, together with what treatments you have done. She may have you fill out an outcome measure to get a baseline from you of your symptoms and how it’s getting in the way of your life right now.

Next, she will perform a physical exam, which can include vitals, a neuro screen, musculoskeletal exam, and movement exam. This is why it’s important to wear loose, comfortable clothing you can move around in.

Finally, she will discuss her findings and decide with you on a treatment plan that works for you.
